Wisdom Teeth & Tooth Extractions
Whether we're removing wisdom teeth or a tooth that can no longer be predictably restored, we plan the procedure with the surrounding bone, gums, nerves, neighboring teeth, and future treatment needs in mind. For teeth with a history of infection or failed root canal treatment, we also pay close attention to thoroughly cleaning and managing the surgical site.
Supporting the Healing Environment
Removing the tooth is only one part of surgery. When appropriate, we may incorporate ozone and platelet-based therapies such as PRF or PRP as supportive tools within the surgical protocol. PRF and PRP are prepared from a small sample of your own blood and concentrate platelets and naturally occurring signaling proteins involved in the body's healing response. In selected oral-surgery procedures, platelet concentrates may be placed at the surgical site to support early tissue healing and recovery.
Bone Preservation & Grafting
After a tooth is removed, the surrounding bone naturally changes over time. When maintaining bone volume is important—especially if an implant may be considered later—we may recommend socket preservation or bone grafting as part of the surgical plan.
Dental & Ceramic Implants
If a missing tooth needs to be replaced, implant planning begins with the foundation. We evaluate bone, gum tissue, bite, anatomy, health history, and long-term restorative goals before recommending implant treatment. For patients interested in a metal-free implant option, ceramic implants may also be considered when clinically appropriate.
Sedation When Appropriate
Some surgical procedures—or simply the thought of oral surgery—can create significant anxiety. Depending on your health history and the procedure being performed, sedation options may be available to help make treatment more comfortable.
